Catholic Guilt returns to SoHo Playhouse in New York, October 29-November 13, with select performances presented as part of the 2026 New York Comedy Festival.

Premiered her new experimental comedy-horror solo show, Martha’s Umbra, to a sold-out audience at The Elysian’s Spaghetti Festival in Los Angeles.

Kelly McCaughan (HBO, Apple TV+) is an actor, writer, and comedian known for grounded, character-driven comedy that blends precision, physicality, and emotional depth.

Her solo show Catholic Guilt had an extended Off-Broadway run at SoHo Playhouse as a winner of the International Fringe Encore Series and has been performed at venues including the Elysian Theater in Los Angeles. She was the star of Natalie Palamides Lady Magic at the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe.

A two-time ISH Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee (Best Newcomer 2023, Best Show 2024), Kelly has built her work across theatre, comedy, and devised performance, with sold-out runs and strong critical response in the UK.
