Where to begin?
(Let’s start in third-person) Kelly is a multi-hyphenate artist of the stage and screen. She made her television debut on the HBO comedy, Crashing, and most recently wrapped a small recurring role on M. Night Shyamalan’s Servant. She has vast experience performing in everything from Shakespeare to new works created from the ground up. Whether it be her sold out solo show (writer, producer, actor), her original viral character videos, or trying out a new bit, Kelly is always doing or creating something new.
She started her career performing with an award-winning sketch comedy group, High Dramma. They made their rounds performing in national and international comedy festivals. Kelly continued on to create her own work and her critically acclaimed sold out solo-show, Catholic Guilt, was nominated for best newcomer with the 2023 Edinburgh Comedy Awards. She has a special place in her heart for comedy and is has studied clowning with Aitor Basauri, Bouffon with Eric Davis (aka Red Bastard), and improv at Upright Citizen's Brigade. Described as a ‘Multi-talented, multi-faceted, powerhouse’ (whoa, I’m really trying to sell myself here) Kelly has the ability to disappear into a role and has been told that she is ‘unrecognizable’ when she does.
(now let’s try some first-person) What else can I say? If you MUST brand me, I’ve been told I have “90s fly girl energy” and honestly, it’s true. I’d say I thrive in the world of comedy and dramedy and have SNL chops and grounded vulnerability to boot. My favorite genre is comedy/clown and nothing else brings me more joy than being in a room full of people laughing. I also love creating new work and getting weird. I’m definitely multidisciplinary and like to get a bit messy. I pack a big punch with a lot of love.
Check out some of my work in the media section and then hire me, please. I DARE YOU.
(All kidding aside, I’m a blast to work with and I bring a lot to the table. Let’s work together. Also, writing about yourself is wild.)
