Where to begin?
(Let’s start in third-person) Equal parts sassy and soft, Kelly is a multi-hyphenate artist of the stage and screen. She has vast experience performing in everything from Shakespeare to new works created from the ground up.
Kelly started her career performing in national and international comedy festivals with her award winning sketch comedy group, High Dramma. She branched out to create her own work and her critically acclaimed fringe hit, Catholic Guilt was most recently featured in an extended run Off-Broadway at Soho Playhouse as part of being a winner of The 2024 International Fringe Encore Series. Additionally, Catholic Guilt was nominated for best show with the 2024 Jones Bootmaker Edinburgh Comedy Awards, best newcomer with the 2023 Jones Bootmaker Edinburgh Comedy Awards and had sold out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She has a BA in theater and has an extensive background in devised physical theater and comedy. She studied clowning with the world renowned teachers Aitor Basauri and Virginia Scott, Bouffon with the critically acclaimed Eric Davis, and Improv at Upright Citizens Brigade.
She made her television debut on the HBO comedy, Crashing, and most recently wrapped a small recurring role on M. Night Shyamalan’s Servant in which both of her scenes got cut 🎉 (but, hey - she booked the job, got paid, and shot both episodes. Keep those residuals coming, baby).
Described as a ‘Multi-talented, multi-faceted, powerhouse’ (whoa, I’m really trying to sell myself here) Kelly has the ability to disappear into a role and has been told that she is ‘unrecognizable’ when she does.
(now let’s try some first-person) I’d say I thrive in the world of comedy and dramedy. My favorite genre is comedy/clown and nothing else brings me more joy than being in a room full of people laughing. I also love creating new work and getting weird. I’m definitely multidisciplinary and like to get a bit messy. I pack a big punch with a lot of love.
I DARE YOU TO HIRE ME.
(All kidding aside, I’m great to work with and I bring a lot to the table. Also, writing about yourself is wild.)
